I have been designing, illustrating and making stuff in one form or another since I was little. My mom now says that she always knew I would be “something creative” as an adult, which is a lie because at the time I dreamed of becoming a sausage lady at the grocery store meat counter.
After a busy childhood crafting sausage slices out of paper to practice for my dream job, I did change my mind at some point and went on to get my Master’s in visual communication design at Kent State University in Ohio. I worked as a designer in Boston for a year and then moved to Berlin, where I took a minor detour in the advertising business for almost three years. Still wanting to fulfill a lifelong dream of mine, I quit my job and spent close to a year traveling around South America. Upon my return to Europe I was offered the opportunity to work as a marketing manager in London for five months, which I gladly took. (For more details please feel free check out my résumé).
My original plan still stood all along, which was to work as a freelance designer in Berlin. So this is where I am at now, happy as a clam and convinced that one of these days I’ll become a break-through success. Any day now.
I am always looking for new opportunities to spread some color, some sweetness and some charm. Don’t hesitate and ask for my services. I would love to hear from you.
